Detroit has shaped me but Louisiana raised me.​ I proudly identify as a Southern Belle, hailing from Lafayette LA. 

 

I had the privilege of producing for WDET, Detroit's NPR Station, during the Summer Book Club Series hosted by Stephen Henderson of Detroit Today. Before the Detroit Today team, I spent eight years at Urban One (formerly Radio One) in Detroit as a News-Talk Producer and On-Air Personality.

 

While producing and storytelling remain close to my heart, I aim to expand my voiceover brand and venture into podcasting. After all, who can resist a touch of Southern Charm?

In addition I do freelance media consulting, social media management, provide mentorship to aspiring journalists, and occasionally host events or moderate panels in Metro Detroit.

I love to engage in conversation, have a heart for God, and stand on the motto just because someone faces different challenges doesn't mean it's any less challenging for them. Be kind!
